Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White take it back to basics with a twist, reuniting as a trio as they originally started back in the day
before Return to Forever and now
recharting their course
in a fresh new direction.

I saw the trio here in Toronto and it was absolutely fantatic. I really enjoyed the communication between the 3 instruments on stage. Everything was great. Chick is a great composer and I really enjoyed Stanley's "Slap Standup Bass Technique" and Lenny was superb at keeping them together. Great concert guys.

Saw CCW this month at Anthology in San Diego. Mellow show and really enjoyed it. However, I really miss AL. His acoustic gutiar would complete the group in my opinion since he is the best player in the world bar none! I look forward to seeing another RTF tour maybe next year???

I want to thank Chick, Stanley & Lenny for posting the info on my new website MOJA Radio (www.mojaradio.com) in this newsletter. If you want to hear there music all the time (and where else are you going to get it?) then MOJA Radio is where you'll get it. Come to the site and you'll find out. In fact, come register (it's free) and check out the BLOGS section. There's a blog I wrote there about the guys' performance on Day One of the Detroit Jazz Festival. WHAT A SHOW! After RTF this is so inventive and refreshing and shows how these masters can stretch into so many cool, creative musical areas! Russ Davis (MOJA Radio and Voice of America)

Hey Vince - we're adding shows all the time and hopefully there'll be a NY show in there somewhere. On the CCW Frontpage towards the bottom of the page there's a DEMAND IT widget that you can Demand to let Chick know that you'd dig a show in NY

i was one of the fortunate few who was able to witness an incredible jam/solo by the incomparable Stevie Wonder as he joined d group to perform Spain. Words can not even begin to describe the emotions that were running rampart that night. Surprise doesn't even come close.
